- Hello,
- I've been working to make a game program in Visual C++ 1.52 using
- a heavy amount of Bitmaps for the graphics. I also have Borland C++ 4.5
- w/ ObjectWindows 2.5, and after some time I found it much easier to make
- the game in Visual C++ then trying to figure out how to convert the code
- over to ObjectWindows (spent a week, but I time is getting low).
- OK, to the point ... I hae seen the program in 32-bit from Visual
- C++ 2.0 and there was a huge, dramatic increase in speed over my 16-bit
- version. Is there any way to incorporate Borland's 32-bit source files
- over to Visual 1.52? If so, which files?
-
- In addition, I would buy Visual C++ 2.0 (it's cheap at the local
- university bookstore) but it says it needs a minimum of 16MB of RAM; I've
- got only 8MB. How insanely slow will it run (if it can even run at all?)
- or compile?
